oneself和his own有什么区别
“Oneself”(或“One”)是很正式的话,现在听起来老套。
现在通常用“Yourself”(或 “You”),“Myself” (或“I”),“Himself”(或“He”),“Helfself”(或“She”)。
used as the object of a verb or preposition when ‘one’ is the subject of the verb or is understood as the subject.
[原文]
用于动词的宾语或介词当'one'是动词的主语或确定为主语。
E.g.
One has to ask oneself what the purpose of the exercise is.
One cannot choose freedom for oneself without choosing it for others.
It is difficult to make oneself concentrate for long periods.
His Own
用来强调某物属于或与某人连接。“own" 不能用放在article后面。
E.g.
It was her own idea.
I saw it with my own eyes (= I didn't hear about it from somebody else).
Is the car your own?
Your day off is your own (= you can spend it as you wish).
Our children are grown up and have children of their own.
For reasons of his own (= particular reasons that perhaps only he knew about), he refused to join the club.
The accident happened through no fault of her own.
He wants to come into the business on his own terms.
I need a room of my own.
I have my very own room at last.
错误的用法:
I need an own room. (应是 I need my own room。)
It's good to have the own room. (应是 It's good to have your own room.)
