Monica： Well, I don't want to brag about it. You are so lucky today. I am making my special spaghetti with ferns.

Jef： That's funny. Ferns? I don't want to make you feel bad. But I read about something in a science magazine that they would cause cancer.

Monica： Are you serious? Are you just scaring me because you want to eat steak?

Jef： No, I mean it. You know how much I love your food.

Monica： How come greens hurt people? Is there anything safe to eat now?

蔬菜怎么会伤人呢？还有什么吃起来比较安全的？

Jef： Easy, Chef! People just don't know about it yet. Can we just grab something to eat? So we won't miss the movie.

轻松点，大厨！人们只是还不知道而已。我们可不可以随便吃点儿？那样我们就不会错过电影了。

Monica： The movie is about three hours from now. I assure you that we'll make it and our sweet spaghetti will make it.

电影要三小时后呢。我保证我们肯定能赶上。我的宝贝意大利面也肯定行。

Jef： What? Still want to have the deadly noodles?

什么？你还想要毒面条？

Monica： It took me two hours to prepare them. Don't you want to die with me, coward?
