in 表示时间,一天中一部分

during 在....期间/当...的时候

over 在···期间内

for 一段时间

during the night.

over the two days.

表示时间时：during表示“在...期间”强调的是时间的长度

over 表示“多，超过”强调的是程度

over后只可以加sth，表示during sth，此时可与during互换。

深入一点，从原意来说：during有两个意思：1.all through a period of time:在（某段完整的时间）内，所以后面 跟时间，如：during the 1990s; 而over后则不能根时间。

2.at some point in a period of time:在……期间的某时候。
